Centrifugal Pump

OBBO

Auto Water Pump

Purpose

  • For general water supply (apartments, villas, office buildings).
  • Places where water supply fluctuates significantly depending on the time of day (schools, hotels, hospitals, stores, shopping centers, factories).
  • Low-rise buildings, wide area (farms, golf courses)
  • Places where it is difficult to supply water from an elevated water tank (buildings subject to sky line regulations)

Features

  • A booster pump system consists of two or more pumps connected in parallel and a control panel with various functions. This helps control the flow rate with a water supply method that can supply at a constant pressure the amount of water used by each user.
  • Currently, two methods are used: a logarithmic control method using a pressure tank, and a method using a frequency conversion device that adjusts the rotation speed of the pump according to frequency changes.
  • Saves energy when used instead of using a large-capacity pump that consumes unnecessary energy at an inefficient operating point most of the operating time to supply water to an elevated water tank.
  • Consists of a vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump whose main parts are made of stainless steel and an automatic control panel, which is a state-of-the-art control system.

Main features of a booster system

  • Shift operation Shift operation is done automatically according to the order and time set in the control system in advance, so that all installed pumps operate evenly, which helps extend the life of the pump.
  • Overload stop When the pump is overloaded, the control panel automatically stops the process to prevent damage to the motor.
  • Full manual operation function in case of malfunction with auto mode In case an error occurs in auto mode rendering automatic operation unavailable to use, all pumps can be operated manually. Additionally, when repairing a pump failure, specific pumps can be selected for operation.
  • Pump operation speed control (using inverter) Operating speed of the selection pump can be controlled to keep the discharge pressure constant and save energy with a speed control method using cycle changes.
  • Full manual operation in case of malfunction This function automatically stops operation in the circuit section when the pump is idling, preventing malfunctions due to pump operation when water is cut off or low.
  • Non-contact function Starting pressure remains constant during parallel operation of the pump by detecting through a non-contact pressure sensor.
  • Skip function This function ensures smooth water supply by sending a failure signal when a pump breaks down, then skipping the broken pump and operating with another configured pump.
  • Night-time operating function If the amount of water used at night is small, the flow detector detects this and activates the low-capacity night pump automatically to prevent the inverter pump or duty pump from frequently shutting down, which lowers efficiency. This maximizes energy savings and improves the system's reliability.
  • Pulsation damper function This function operates sequentially when the pump starts and stops to protect the system and prevent irregular pressure pulsations.
  • Scheduled operation function A real-time clock is built into the control panel that allows the user to program operation and stop times, which helps operate or stop the system at a certain time on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Current pressure digital display function The pressure inside the pipe is displayed on an LCD (digital) screen, which makes it easy to read. This also eliminates the need for a separate pressure gauge.
